Town of Scarborough and Project GRACE Fuel Assistance Program
This campaign is a collaboration of the Town of Scarborough and Project G.R.A.C.E. Town manager Tom Hall is helping to chair the fundraising effort and the goal is to raise $50,000 to address the needs of Scarborough residents who may not qualify for public general assistance. Help is provided by delivery of fuel - not cash - and is coordinated by Project G.R.A.C.E. with local dealers. The donations are tax deductible. In order to help jump start the program, Scarborough Community Chamber has voted to donate $2,500 with an additional $2,500 pledge to match, dollar-for-dollar, contributions from other Chamber members. This effort has the potential to leverage a total of $7,500 toward the program. Please join us in helping our town help others. For more information, please contact Tom Hall at (207) 730-4030.
